Services

Download Peverel NewsThe overwhelming majority of our managed retirement schemes enjoy the benefits of:

House manager
At the majority of our sites a House Manager will be on duty from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday to ensure that all services and facilities run smoothly and to help residents with any queries they might have regarding the development.

Visiting estates manager
Every development falls under the remit of an estates manager who visits on a regular basis to check that the building and common areas are being correctly maintained and to provide advice to the house manager on any queries that he or she might have. The estates manager is also responsible for the preparation and presentation of the annual accounts, where this is required by the residents.

Emergency call system
All our developments have an emergency call system in place, providing round the clock security and peace of mind. Should something happen or an emergency arise, residents only need to pull the nearest cord or press the button on their pendant, phone or watchstrap to be put through instantly to either the House Manager (during office hours) or Cirrus Careline where a highly trained operator will deal with the emergency in hand.

Residents' lounge

Most developments will have a communal lounge for the benefit of residents. The lounge provides a good focus for social activity and is used by residents for evening entertainment and social gatherings such as the weekly coffee morning.

Communal laundry
The laundry contains washing machines and dryers for the use of residents.

Guest room
Guest rooms usually have twin beds and en suite bathroom and allow residents to invite family and friends to stay at very reasonable rates.

Lift
All lifts are regularly maintained and are linked through to Cirrus Careline in case of emergencies.

Maintained gardens
Gardens are maintained on a regular basis by approved contractors.

Communal car park
All developments have car parking spaces which are usually run on a daily first-come, first-served basis.

Social activities

Many residents form social committees to organise activities and entertainment for the benefit of other residents. Typical activities include theatre outings, guest speakers and entertainers, bridge afternoons, coffee mornings.
